What we collect

What we do with photos

Your photos are stored privately under your account so you can see your history. They are never shown to other users, and a shared grade link shows only the small graded crops, never your originals or your name.

If you leave the training box ticked when grading, we may use those photos, together with the model's result, to train future versions of the grader. Untick it and the photos are used for nothing but your own history. You can ask us to delete your photos and account at any time.

Browser extension

On eBay and Heritage listing pages, the extension reads the listing's coin images from the page your browser already loaded and sends them to our grader to produce a badge. It sends nothing else from those pages, does not track your browsing, and does not run on other sites.

Cookies

We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to remember settings. No advertising cookies, no third-party trackers.

One more, our own: if you arrive from a link that names where it was posted (for example a video description or a forum post), or from another website, we remember that source, the page you landed on, and the date for up to 90 days. If you sign up, it is saved with your account so we can tell which places are worth our time. It holds nothing else, is never shared, and is not set at all if you come straight to the site.

Who else sees data

Clerk (sign-in), Stripe (payments), Google Cloud (hosting, storage, and photo checks, in the United States), Google's Gemini model on Vertex AI (it reads the photos of a full grade to identify the coin, in the United States; under Google Cloud's terms they are not used to train Google's models), and Modal (the GPU servers that run the grading model, in the United States; photos pass through and are not stored there). Each only receives what it needs for its job. We do not sell or rent personal data.
